Forward Pharmacy has the new COVID Boosters!
Forward Pharmacy is pleased to announce that we have the new COVID boosters!
We have received both the Pfizer Booster and the Moderna Booster.
In order to be eligible for the new booster you must:
- Must be at least 12 years of age
- Must have already been vaccinated against COVID
- Must have had your last dose of COVID vaccine more than 2 months ago.
The new formulations (called the bivalent vaccines) are now available by appointment.
PS: You can schedule your flu shot and your COVID shot at the same appointment.
The updated COVID-19 boosters are formulated to better protect against the most recently circulating COVID-19 variant. They can help restore protection that has waned since previous vaccination and were designed to provide broader protection against newer variants. This recommendation followed a comprehensive scientific evaluation and robust scientific discussion. If you are eligible, there is no bad time to get your COVID-19 booster and I strongly encourage you to receive it.
