Health Alert: Measles Cases Confirmed in Wisconsin — What You Need to Know
We’re sharing an important update from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS):
As of August 4, 2025 nine cases of measles have been confirmed in Wisconsin—one through lab testing and eight based on symptoms and exposure history. All nine cases are linked to a group that traveled out of state and were exposed to a common source.
The good news
DHS reports that no public exposure sites have been identified and the risk to the community remains low.
The takeaway
This is still a critical reminder to make sure you and your family are protected.
