Jen Matte, PharmD

Jen is a pharmacist at Forward Pharmacy, serving as the pharmacy manager at our Deerfield location for the past fifteen years. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin—Madison.

Jen understands the importance of helping patients managing their health proactively. For her, that involves educating patients about their medications; offering advice on achieving their healthcare goals; and providing convenient clinical opportunities for our community, such as our walk-in flu vaccinations. Jen knows that every interaction with our patients is an opportunity to demonstrate the importance of having a dedicated pharmacist as part of your healthcare team.

Jen believes in giving back to her local community, including guiding undergrad students in their pursuit of careers in pharmacy. She has served as a preceptor for the Dane County Pharmacy Youth Apprenticeship Program, Midwestern University, and the University of Wisconsin—Madison.

In her free time, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and their two kids. Jen loves shopping with her girls, relaxing at her family’s cabin, and making lasting memories with her family. She and her family are proud Deerfield residents.
