Kristen Mabie, RPh

Kristen Mabie a pharmacist and co-founder of Forward Pharmacy. She and her husband, Matt, launched Forward Pharmacy to deliver superior service and patient care in her community.

Kristen’s career in pharmacy started in 1997, working first as a technician and then as a licensed pharmacist after graduating from UW-Madison’s School of Pharmacy in 1999. Kristen focuses on getting to know her patients, their history, family and health concerns to help them achieve better health outcomes. By doing so, Kristen is able to understand her patients better and offer informed advice and guidance to every Forward Pharmacy customer.

Kristen says, “I see pharmacy moving FORWARD over the next few decades. Pharmacists will have more access to necessary patient records, and will have a greater influence on medication dosing, making prescription medication safe and more effective.”

In her free time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband and their four kids. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, gardening, an occasional Netflix binge session, and staying active in her community. She and her family have called Cottage Grove home since 1999.
