Forward Pharmacy Cambridge is located in the historic Village Pharmacy Building in downtown Cambridge. This location has been a pharmacy since approximately 1900. The building may be old, but our cutting edge software and highly trained pharmacists are here to provide you with modern, effective health care options.
My compliments to Dan at Forward Pharmacy in Cambridge. We feel fortunate to have such a professional pharmacist and staff in our small town. Every time I’ve been in, Dan has always provided me with excellent consultation on the medications we are using. I’ve never had this level of service at most large pharmacies in bigger communities. Dan and his staff at Forward Pharmacy are a great asset to the Village of Cambridge!
I have have a complicated medication regimen, and the sraff has been very accommodating with special orders and billing. I have also relied upon Dan the pharmacist several times to answer questions about medication side effects and interactions. Just this week he went out of his way to find answers for me and about a comex vaccine scheduling protocol. I appreciate the great customer service we receive in Cambridge.
Village Pharmacy (which is no more) was truly comprised of some of the most loving and honest souls I have ever met during my day’s in recovery. There is absolutely NO COMPARISON in the non judgmental treatment of clients by the previous owners to the present. I have never in my life been treated as poorly, harshly and discriminatory as I was this past week, but especially today by a pharmacist by the first name if “Ryan.” Our family has frequented Village Pharmacy for over a decade for epi pens, vitamins, stuffed animals and cards as well as medications that continue to support recovery. I will do my best to share our story of mistreatment far and wide. It’s a story that should be shared verbally vs in text. You will be hearing from my lawyers.
The pharmacist has been very helpful in finding the best price on our prescriptions when we moved to WI and had to change our Part D plan. He will work with you to get the exact brand or generic drug you want and helped us through the prior approval process. They are much more flexible and caring than Walgreens, and we love having a local store.
Ryan Bender is the director of clinical services for Forward Pharmacy. He creates our standard of care for our immunization, comprehensive medication review, health screening and medication therapy management programs. He also practices at all of our stores so you will see him at McFarland, Deerfield, Columbus and Cottage Grove.
Daniel Ricci has been a pharmacist since 2013, having received his PharmD from Drake University. In 2018, he received a MS in Health Services Research in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He’s spent his entire career working at independent pharmacies, enjoying the ability to help people understand their medications and the roles it plays in their health.
