New Way of Testing for COVID-19 at Forward Pharmacy

Forward Pharmacy is proud to offer COVID tests at no charge to members of our community.

Beginning on Monday, October 31, we will use a new testing procedure. 

You will still book an appointment on our website and wait in your car for our staff to come out to you. You will still swab your nose. The difference will be that we are performing a RAPID (“antigen”) test instead of a LABORATORY (“PCR”) test. Instead of waiting 2 or more days for results, you will get the answer in 15 minutes. 

If the rapid test gives a negative result, but you have symptoms of COVID, such as fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea, we will recommend you do a laboratory PCR test to confirm the results.
