Matt Huppert, PharmD

Matt Huppert has worked with Forward Pharmacy since 2014 in a number of roles—as a delivery driver, tech, pharmacy intern, and pharmacist. He completed a PGY-1 residency in community pharmacy. Matt’s favorite part of working at Forward Pharmacy is helping patients, and the opportunity to solve problems for patients all day.

Matt believes that community pharmacy will become more clinical in future years. Pharmacists will take on the role of providing more care to patients—including vaccinating community members against a deadly pandemic, a recent new role that Forward pharmacists have played.

In 2020, he and his wife moved moved to the town of McFarland. “We have loved every day of it so far,” he says. In 2020 they also welcomed their new baby, named Link, into the family. “He is amazing and we are so happy to have him in our lives,” Matt says. In his free time, Matt enjoys running, playing basketball, and renovating his basement and garage.
